NETWORK:-

                       A system of computers and peripherals, such as printers, that are linked together. A network can consist of as few as two computers connected with cables or millions of computers that are spread over a large geographical area and are connected by telephone lines, fiber-optic cables, or radio waves. TYPES

Local Area Network (LAN)-   The computers are geographically close together.

Wide Area Network (WAN)-   The computers are farther apart and connected by telephone lines.

Campus Area Network(CAN)- The computers are within a limited geographic area. such as a campus or military base.

Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)- A data network designed for a town or city.

Home Area Network (HAN)- A network contained within a user's home that connects  a person digital devices.
